Photographer and Graphic Designer
Although I never had the gift of knowing Noah, I do have the honor and privilege of being friends with the Evans family. I’m also honored to be a supporter of the mission and vision of the NoahBRAVE Foundation.
My youngest daughter, Erin, is the same age as Noah and she and Noah went to middle school together. According to Erin, everyone LOVED Noah. Noah loved unconditionally and brought light into everyone’s life, including Erin’s. Once the school and our community found out the news of Noah’s diagnosis, my family and I started following Noah’s journey via Lori’s Facebook page. We prayed and prayed and supported as best we could, feeling helpless to help, but desperately wanted to! Lori’s posts and stories brought a heartbreaking awareness of the devastating effects of a DIPG brain tumor diagnosis. According to dipg.org , fewer than 10% of children survive two years from diagnosis.
I officially “met” Lori in 2021 soon after Noah passed, and her friendship has meant the absolute world to me. She is one of my most treasured friends and I will pretty much do anything to support her, her family and the NoahBRAVE Foundation.
For the past three years I have worked as a photographer and graphic designer for the NoahBRAVE Foundation. I’ve worked on projects for the NoahBRAVE 5K, The Yes, And Improv Show, and various marketing materials that needed to be created. Partnering with the foundation has been a gift. If what I do, even if in some small way, supports families walking through their DIPG journey, it’s an absolute honor and a privilege.
