Meet Neeve Kolte

Neev exuded warmth and joy wherever he ventured, his infectious laughter filling the air and spreading happiness to all who crossed his path. Gifted with a brilliant mind, he possessed a quick wit and an insatiable passion for constructing intricate Lego masterpieces. From his love for sushi to his fascination with ninjas, Pokémon, and the Avengers, Neev's diverse interests reflected his vibrant personality and boundless curiosity about the world.

Family game nights were cherished by Neev, where he eagerly immersed himself in rounds of Candyland, Crazy 8, and any Pete the Cat adventure that awaited. His love for books, particularly the whimsical "Book with No Pictures," knew no bounds, and he eagerly embraced the joy of reading from the tender age of four.

In August of 2020, Neev's world was forever changed by the devastating diagnosis of a terminal brain tumor, specifically DIPG. Yet, despite facing unimaginable challenges, Neev approached each day with remarkable courage, unwavering determination, and a steadfast faith that inspired all who knew him. His fondest desire was simply to shadow his beloved older brother Rayaan, eagerly anticipating the shared experiences of kindergarten and the milestones that lay ahead.

Tragically, Neev's journey was cut short before he could lose his first tooth or step onto the soccer field for his inaugural game. Throughout the arduous 15 months of his battle with DIPG, he never once voiced a complaint or questioned the hand fate had dealt him. Instead, he became a beacon of hope and resilience, participating in three Phase 1 clinical trials as the courageous pioneer, laying the groundwork for future generations of children facing similar diagnoses.

The loss of Neev, just a month after celebrating his sixth birthday, left a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him. Yet, his legacy of bravery, compassion, and unwavering spirit continues to shine brightly, a testament to the impact he made in his too-short time on earth.
