Meet Londyn Buss

13-year-old 7th grader Londyn Rian Buss was diagnosed with a Diffuse Midline Glioma of the Pons, also known as DIPG, on May 11, 2021. The middle child of her family, and only girl, Londyn has an older brother, Gage, and younger brother, Tristyn. They live in Nebraska, but like most kids with DIPG, treatment takes them away from their home hospital.

Following Londyn's initial radiation in Omaha (2.5 hours away from home) she was enrolled in the promising ONC201 trial at a participating hospital. Londyn traveled to the University of Michigan, where Noah also received treatment, to meet with Dr. Koschmann and monitor her tumor symptoms while on the trial. Following ONC201, Londyn received care at Children's National in Washington D.C..

Londyn endured a second round of radiation in November 2022, turned 14 on February 26, and after a valiant 21-month battle with DIPG, she was healed in Heaven on March 17, 2023. Just a week after her passing, Londyn was awarded the Fortitude Award at a Gala event in Philadelphia for a fellow DIPG brain cancer foundation, Storm the Heavens.

Londyn will always be remembered for her sense of humor, her sassy personaility, her love for Disney movies and Tik Tok Dances.
