Meet Jace Ward

Jace was diagnosed with DIPG on May 17, 2019, DIPG Awareness Day. He fought vailantly this battle for over 2 years, and made headway in treatment. He was one of the first patients enrolled in a clinical trial using Car-T Cells to fight brainstem tumors at Stanford University. Jace was known for his positive attitude, his "big brother" love for younger DIPG kids, being the Kansas City Cheif's number one fan, and his quote "I can't die, I'm busy". Jace passed from Earth to Heaven on July 3, 2021, one day before his favorite holiday, Independence Day.
